Foshan lies in the middle of the river plain that belongs to the subtropical monsoon climate and enjoys adequate sunshine and rainfall. The annual average temperature is 22.0°C and the annual average precipitation is 1,600 to 2,200 millimeters.The coldest months occur in January and February with average temperature of 14°C. From April to September, the weather gets relatively hotter and with an average temperature of 28°C.

 

To be one of the four most famous ancient towns in the Ming and Qing Dynasty, Foshan has rich historical and cultural heritage. More over, it is the cardle for Guangzhou opera (Yue opera). Spring and autumn are the best seasons to visit Foshan.
