Overview:Henan is traditionally regarded as an important cradle of Chinese civilization. The name Henan means "south of the (Yellow) River"
The geographical landmark between the Warm Temperate Zone and the Semitropical Zone in China-Qinling-Huaihe line runs through the Funiu Chine and the costal areas along Huaihe River in Henan province. These areas, Xinyang, Nanyang and part of areas in Zhumadian, in the south of this line belong to the wet and half-wet areas of the Semitropical Zone.

Henan weather forecast
The Longmen Grottoes (Dragon's Gate Grottoes) or Longmen Caves are located 12 km south of present day Luoyang in Henan province, China.
Since the Tang Dynasty no Chinese city has been able to rival Luoyang in growing peonies boasting nearly 10 million peony trees with more than 700 species - all thanks to improvements in technology of peony cultivation.
Martial arts groups from all over the world have made donations for the upkeep of the temple and grounds, and are subsequently honored with carved stones near the entrance of the temple.
