White Horse Temple | Located 12.5 km east of Luoyang, White Horse Temple was built in 68 A.D. It is the first Buddhist temple in China since the religion spread to the country. Therefore it is regarded as the ancestral temple and respectfully called "No.1 Ancient Temple in China". | Longmen Grottoes | The grottoes and niches of Longmen contain the largest and most impressive collection of Chinese art of the late Northern Wei and Tang Dynasties (316-907). These works, entirely devoted to the Buddhist religion, represent the high point of Chinese stone carving. |

Morning, pay a visit the the Cave dwelling House, which considered as "constructing wonder" by western travellers who have been here. It's a underground compound with house around a square countryard. Then transferred to visit the famous Shaolin Temple & Pagoda Forest. Later drive to Zhengzhou City, the capital city of Henan Province. (Cost of train/bus/flight leaving Zhengzhou or overnight accommodation in Zhengzhou isn't included this quotation.) |
