Liuyueliu Festival in Zhenfeng
The Liuyueliu festival is held on 6th day of the sixth month of the lunar calendar. It is a traditional festival celebrated by Buyi ethnic living in Guizhou province.
The contents and styles of celebration activities are not exactly the same in different places, of which, the most profound and far-reaching one among them is that of the Buyi people in Zhenfeng.
Activies include: lusheng dance, folk song singing, whistling on bamboo leaves, etc.
