Upon arrival at the Lijiang airport, pickup by our English speaking tour guide and drive to hotel. Free time for the rest of the day. |

Day 2 Lijiang ( B,L ) |
Morning we'll drive to Qiaotou Town (2.5 hours), our trekking trip starts from here through High Trail, 28 zigzaging turns, total is 19km (about 8 hours). Our trekking finishes at Halfway Guest House today. You need to carry 2 days change clothes. The big luggage will be transported by luggage car to Tina's Inn (the hotel we will stay on Day 4), you will not see them tonight. |
Tiger Leaping Gorge | The Tiger Leaping Gorge is one of the world's four great gorges - The Tiger Leaping Gorge is 17 kilometers long with a drop of 213 meters. The gorge is divided into three sections: Upper, Middle and Lower Hutiao. At the narrowest spot the river is only 30 meters wide. |

Day 3 Lijiang ( B,L ) |
In the early morning, continue our trekking to Tina's Inn (9KM, 3.5 hours). After lunch break, 1 hour (1.5 KM), walking down the steep cliff to the bank of Jinsha River, worship the dangerours shoal of "Starriness". Spending 1 more hour to climb up the gorge. Stay overnight in Tina's Inn. It is the best hotel located at the foot of Haba Snow Mountain. |
The Heavenly Ladder | From Starriness, there is a shortcut to climb up the cliff. The path was hidden behind the huge rocks and trees. Do walk on a rainly day. It is extremly difficult and slippery. | The Starriness | The most narrow part of the Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge. It is a big rock and an area of dangerours shoal. The old people say this is the place where a tiger can easily jump over the Jinsha River. It is the reason why the Tiger Leaping Gorge was orriginally named after. |

[ Optional ] The Narraw Sky: From Starriness, you might walking on the trail built along the cliff, go downstream to Woody's. The trail goes all the way along the valley, the view is terrific. |

Day 4 Lijiang ( B,L ) |
Continue your trekking for approximately 16 km (3-4 hours) to a small ferry, cross the river by boat, climb up the cliff and see the beautiful Daju Town. You will meet your driver and coach to take you back to Lijiang. |
Daju | A small village at the southern bank of Jinshan River, located at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. It is quite near an old ferry at the east end of Tiger Leaping Gorge, an important historic relic site on the ancient Tea-Horse Trading Road. |

[ Optional ] Yak Meadow: Yak Meadow got its name because the local people like to pasture their Yak here.
The landscape rises and falls on the meadow. In spring and summer, Yaks with black and white skin wander in grass and all kinds of flowers. In autumn and winter, the mild edge of th meadow becoms a sharp contrast with the peaks of the snow mountain. |

Day 5 Lijiang ( ) |
Free time to explore the old town of Lijiang on foot by yourself. No service of tour guide or car necessary today. |
Lion Hill | Lion Hill Park is overlooking the old town of Lijiang. There is a tower (Wanggu Tower) at the top of the hill where you can enjoy vistas of breathtaking scenery over the rooftops of Lijiang and the great Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the distance. | Mu Prince Palace | Mu Prince Palace combines the styles of Naxi, Bai, Tibetan and Han architecture. The exquisite carves and paintings on the doors and windows and meticulously designed structures all indicate their status in Lijiang. | Square Market | In Lijiang, the Square Market was built before the construction of the whole town. It might be the only square that had an automatic street-wash system in ancient times. |
