Day 1 Kunming (   ) |
Upon your arrival at the Kunming airport, you'll be picked up by our English speaking tour guide and drive to hotel. Free time for the rest of the day. Recommended are Green Lake Park, Flowers and Birds Market, and Kunming's symbol building - Golden Horse & Green Phoenix Archway. |
Kunming | Kunming is a city to be shared -- its sunshine, blue skies, fragrant flowers, leisure pursuits, relaxed ambience. The night market is the liveliest spot in Kunming, and is where the city's more artistic and eccentric elements gather. |

[ Optional ] Market of birds and flowers: A part of a series of streets and markets in central Kunming where an attempt has been made to preserve some of the typical architecture of the region. Traditional wooden houses with grass growing from their roofs line the streets where a variety of products are sold, including of course a small alley devoted to flowers and cage birds. |

Day 2 Kunming ( B ) |
In the early morning we take you to visit the World Geopark - Stone Forest, which is one of most remarkable natural phenomena of China. You will wonder at the innumerable bizarre-shaped ancient limestone cliffs and peaks, which is created by wind and water erosion some 270 million years ago.
After lunch you will proceed to visit the Sani Ethnic Village. You can sit down for a cup of tea and chat with local people, learning about their custom, garment and lifestyle. Tonight you will stay at the downtown hotel in Kunming. |

[ Optional ] Cangshan Mountain: Its 19 peaks extend 50 kilometers north to south in their column formation like a screen. The peaks, straight and magnificent, are overgrown with primeval forests, and 18 springs and streams filled with crystal-clear waters serpentine among them. Waterfalls and surging rivers emit thunderous roars. |

Day 3 Dali ( B,L ) |
Take the morning flight to Dali. Check in and have lunch at the hotel. Then take a visit to the famous Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Monastery. Later return back to Dali Ancient Town to explore the town. Tonight you will stay at the hotel in Dali. |
Morning market in Xizhou | The Bai minority are much in evidence at Xizhou, 18 kilometres north of Dali. Green mountains, winding creeks and fertile land make for a lyrical and carefree life. | Bai Ethnic House | Xizhou House is the typical traditional house of Bai Ethnic, here you can enjoy a presentation of SanDaoCha Tea Ceremony and colorful Costume of Bais. |

[ Optional ] Mu Prince Palace : Mu Prince Palace combines the styles of Naxi, Bai, Tibetan and Han architecture. The exquisite carves and paintings on the doors and windows and meticulously designed structures all indicate their status in Lijiang. |

Day 4 Lijiang ( B,L ) |
Proceed to Xizhou Village, one of the Bai ethnic minority villages around the Erhai Lake with a cluster of over 100 protected buildings. You will be escorted to visit the characteristic house of local residents featuring a traditional Chinese rectangular courtyard with a screen wall facing the gate. In addition, You'll be greeted with the show of Three Courses of Tea, the genuine tea ceremony of the Bai minority.
In the late afternoon transferred to Lijiang Old Town, which is listed as the World Cultural Heritage Sites in 1997. You can visit Square Street, the main street. Afterwards, drive to visit the Lion Hill, standing on the wooden Wangulou Tower, you may enjoy the beautiful sunset (if the weather is fine), overlooking the old town and the great Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is in the distance.Tonight you will stay at the featured hotel in Lijiang |
Tiger Leaping Gorge | The Tiger Leaping Gorge is one of the world's four great gorges - The Tiger Leaping Gorge is 17 kilometers long with a drop of 213 meters. The gorge is divided into three sections: Upper, Middle and Lower Hutiao. At the narrowest spot the river is only 30 meters wide. |

Day 5 Zhongdian ( B,L ) |
Launch your exciting Tiger Leaping Gorge hiking today! On this day you will hike from Qiaotou Town to Halfway Guesthouse (19km, about 7 hours).
First hike 2 hours to Naxi Family Guest house where you will have lunch break and get close touch with local people. Then continue hiking another 2 hours up the steep 28 Bends before the next break, which is a real challenge. The amazing landscapes will feast your eyes. After another 2 hours' hiking, you will arrive at Halfway Guesthouse which boasts a great view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and overlooks the Jinsha River Valley. Sitting out on a deck, you will wonder at the magnificent scenery in front of you. Tonight you will stay at Halfway Guesthouse. |
Heavenly Ladder | From Starriness, there is a shortcut to climb up the cliff. The path was hidden behind the huge rocks and trees. Do walk on a rainly day. It is extremly difficult and slippery. | Starriness | The most narrow part of the Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge. It is a big rock and an area of dangerours shoal. The old people say this is the place where a tiger can easily jump over the Jinsha River. It is the reason why the Tiger Leaping Gorge was orriginally named after. |

[ Optional ] Narraw Sky: From Starriness, you might walking on the trail built along the cliff, go downstream to Woody's. The trail goes all the way along the valley, the view is terrific. |
