It's so happy to meet Billy's family

Dear Billy family,

Thank you for allowing our Hasting Teachers Delegation to visit your home recently. It was such a pleasure to be able to meet a family of three generations, in their own surroundings. We thought your homes were very nice, and the surrounding gardens made it like a holiday resort. We felt that we were very honoured to be invited to such a place.

We enjoyed meeting Bruno and were impressed with his English for his age. I think he is lucky to have such capable parents to help him. The teachers were also amazed at your father's painting skills. He is a true craftsman with an obvious enjoyment of his work. What a treasure to have in your family. It was nice that one of our teachers was able to converse with him in Japanese. A surprise for all of us! We were also delighted to be able to share our teacher's talent for piano playing with your family and her ability to speak some Mandarin.I believe that by meeing people in their own surroundings, and sharing our talents we can form a stronger bridge between our sister cities.

Now that the teachers have all returned, they all agree that our visit to your home was a very soecial experience. Thankyou so much from all of us.Maybe we will see some of you in Hastings sometime in the future, or perhaps we will be back in your beautiful area.
