South Lake Park

Situated in the southeast of the city center, South Lake Park is one with half of an area water and the other half garden. The National Dragon Boat Festival was held in the lake with a wide expanse of rippling and smooth water.

A small path leads to a Chinese medicinal herb garden, where pots of medicinal herb garden, where pots of medicinal herbs are put on the shelves, or on the tables or hung on the walls, with over 1,000 kinds of medicinal herbs.

In the Miniature Landscape Garden are exhibited over 300 landscapes of trees and rockeries, interesting, tasteful and elegant. Some of them are prize winners in the international contests. In the Orchid Garden there are over sixty kinds of orchids. Each has its own charm and fragrance. Chrysanthemum exhibtions are held here every year.
