Upon arrival at Shanghai airport, pickup by our English speaking tour guide and drive to hotel. Leisure on your own at the rest of the day.

After paying a visit to the Bund and Nanjing Road, we will drive to Shanghai airport for the flight to Yichang. Upon arrival at Yichang airport, transferred to Yichang downtown for your free time until picked up to board the boat for your Yangtze River Cruise.

Day  4  Yichang   (B,L,D)

Sailing through the shiplocks and the shiplift of the Three Gorges Dam. Shore excursion to The Three Gorges Dam Site (11h00-13h00).

Day  5  Yangtze Cruise   (B,L,D)

Sailing through the beautiful Wu Gorge. Shore excursion to Lesser Three Gorges or Shennong Stream(14h00-16h00).

Day  6  Yangtze Cruise   (B,L,D)

Arrive Fengdu in the morning. Shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City (08h00-10h00).

Day  7  Chongqing, Lhasa   (B,L)

Arrive in Chongqing pier in the morning. Be met by local English speaking tour guide and drive to Dazu to visit Baodingshan Buddhist Grottoes. You will catch the overnight train to Lhasa in the evening, train for soft sleeper class (4 berths in one compartment). Train No.: T222/3 leaves Chongqing at 19h42, arrives Lhasa at 17h21 the third day. 45 hours and 39 minutes. Stay overnight on the train.

Day  8  Lhasa  

On the train. There are nine sightseeing platforms designed on the way to give passengers the opportunity to view the unique plateau landscape.

Day  9  Lhasa  

Upon your arrival at Lhasa railway station at 17h21 in the evening, you will be met by your local guide and transferred to the hotel. Leisure on your own at the rest of the day to adjust to Tibet's high altitudes.

After breakfast, transferred to Lhasa Gongga airport for the flight to Chengdu. Upon arrival at Chengdu airport, picked up by local tour guide and drive to the hotel. We will visit Chengdu Panda Base in the afternoon.

Day  13  Chengdu   (B,L)

Today we will transfer to have boat ride on Min Jiangto visit Leshan (about 2 hours). Enjoy the landscape of Chengdu Plain on the way. Afterwards we have the other half an hour drive to Mt. E'mei, visit the Nation Dedicating Temple (Baoguosi). Stay overnight in the hotel located at the foot of Mountain E'mei.

Day  14  Chengdu   (B,L)

Take the cable car up to the Mt. E'mei to visit the Wannian Temple, a very well known ancient temple of the mountain. You could hike to Yixiantian, then down to the mountain and drive back to Chengdu. Leisure on your own at the rest of the day.

Day  15  Chengdu, Xian   (B,L)

Transferred to Chengdu airport for the morning flight to Xi'an. Be met by local tour guide at Xi'an airport and drive to the hotel. In the afternoon, transferred to visit Shaanxi Provincial History Museum and Ancient City Wall.

Day  16  Xian, Beijing   (B,L)

Proceed to the Beijing after touring in Xi'an. Upon your arrival at Beijing international airport, our guide will meet you and escort you to the hotel. Recommend you to take a walk on Wangfujing Streeet, the most busy shopping area in Beijing.
