Guilin Longji Rice Terraces Photography Tour

Upon your arrival, you will be picked up at the Guilin airport and transferred to Longsheng. Check in at the hotel situated on the layers of rice terraces of Tiantou Village. If time allows, you can walk 1.5 hours to Jinfoding Rice Terrace for the gorgeous sunset view.

Get up early and hike about 40 minutes from your hotel to the Xishanshaoyue Rice Terrace for the sunrise scenery. Have a good view of the way the lines, layers and colors of the rice terrace work such a miracle. Then you’ll walk 30 minutes for Thousand Layers Rice Terrace created by terrace fields of various shapes and sizes.

Hike to Dazhai Village where Yao people live. Sure it’s interesting to visit such an exotic village. During the family visit you'll know more about Yao people’s lifestyle, ways to decorate their home and themselves, their legend and customs, etc. Return to Jinkeng Hotel and spend your night there.

Get up early and hike about 1.5hours from your hotel to the Jinfoding Rice Terrace for another awesome sunrise scenery. Then enjoy your free time shooting till the lunch time. Drive to downtown Guilin and check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is spent as you please. Recommended is the night cruise at the water park Two River and Four Lakes. Cruising on such a lovely area, you will be dazzled with Guilin more and more when delicate on-water pavilions, twin pagodas and circuitous floating corridors move past your boat.

Get up early and drive to Yangdi Dock for the fantastic sunrise above the Li River. From here we will take a bamboo raft or boat to Xingping Village. This stretch of the Li River is all for photography. Reflection of Yellow Cloth and Nine Horses Mountains are two highlights. The crystal-clear Li River helps present gorgeous reflections of a piece of glossy yellow cloth and nine awesome horses when you’re past the two spots. They are so attractive that they’re entitled to being on the backside of the RMB note. Enjoy your photography trip here.

At last focus your lens on the fishing lights, fishing boats and cormorants on the Li River at sunset. The Traditional Cormorant Fishing is quite interesting, you may wish to be a fishman rafting on Li River with the loyal cormorants!

Drive to Yangshuo in the late afternoon, taking some photos at the famous West Street. Stay overnight in Yangshuo.

Have fun with your free-time activitity in Yangshuo before we see you off at Guilin Airport in the afternoon.
