Day 1 Guiyang (   ) |
You will be met and welcomed by the guide in Guiyang airport. Guizhou is nicknamed "The Kingdom of Mountains", as 87% of its land is comprised of mountains and plateaus. You might visit the Hequn evening market after dinner if you interested, it will leave you an impression of Guizhou's most popular and spicy food. |
Jiaxiu pavilion | Jiaxiu Pavilion was initially built by a provincial governor in the 25th Year (1597) of Wanli's Reign in the Ming Dynasty , with the purpose of encouraging scholars to make progress. |

[ Optional ] DaNanMen: DaNanMen is the old food street in Downtown Guiyang, 5 minute walking distance to Jiaxiu Tower. Lots of local flavors and famous dishes can be founded here. It is originally known as the Food Paradise of Guiyang. |

Day 2 Guiyang, Kaili ( B,L ) |
After breakfast, we will drive for 2.5 hours along the scenic mountain roads to Kaili. Pay a visit to the Kaili Museum, make an overall view of the ethnic costume in Guizhou. Then drive to Shiqiao Miao village where we will have a chance to see how local people making paper from mulberry tree skin in a traditional way. Stay overnight in Kaili. |
Kaili Ethnic Minorities Musem | one of the "100 Distinctive Museums of China", is entitled "the Origin of Chinese Folk Arts". The Kaili museum has a collection of over ten thousand items of different ethnic groups. | Ancient Hand-made Paper in Shiqiao Village | The tradition of hand-made paper is still kept in Shiqiao. Shiqiao Village of Danzhai County is one of the villages where villagers continue to earn their living by producing and selling hand-made papers and products. |

Day 3 Kaili ( B,L ) |
Visit the Miao's New Year Festival, seeing the girls' traditional costume and silver ornaments. Join the celebration ceremonies, composed of Lusheng dancing, horse racing, rooster fights, and buffalo fights, and it's a good opportunity to learn and joining in the celebrate dancing. Stay overnight in Xijiang.

Miao New Year Festival | For the colourful Miao minority in rural southeast China Guizhou province, the Miao New Year Festival is the most important celebration of the year. It's the time for the Miao people to celebrate their harvest. The celebrations will be held in every village by the locals. |

Day 4 Kaili ( B,L ) |
Today, we will continue to feel the local life. We can try how to make the Miao's musical instrument--Lusheng, or try to do farm work (not heavy work) in the fields in the morning. Drive back to Kaili in the afternoon. |
Xijiang One Thousand Family Miao village | Xijiang is thought to be the largest Miao village. Day 5 Kaili, Guiyang ( B,L ) |
Drive to Guiyang in the morning. An open afternoon is ready for you to explore the beautiful city. A visit to the nearby Qianling Park will be quite interesting. Or take hotpot lunch at DaNanMen, the old food street in Downtown Guiyang. Later today you will be transferred to airport for flight to sweet home. |
