Upon your arrival, Our local guide will pick you up at the airport or train station, and escort you to the hotel for checking in. The rest of the day is all yours. You can stroll at the famous Tunxi Ancient Street to have a brief impression of the local life or just stay at the hotel for relaxation. |

Day 2 Huangshan ( B,L ) |
Start your journey to Mt. Huangshan, an UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Site. Drive about 1h from the downtown Huangshan City to Mt. Huangshan Scenic Area and then take a cable car from Yungu (Cloud Valley) Station to White Goose Ridge Station. Feast your eyes on the fabulous pines and bizarre rocks nearby Beginning-to-Believe Peak, Meng Bi Sheng Hua (Flowers Blooming from a Writing Brush) and Tuan Jie Pine (Unity Pine).
After lunch, get ready for a hiking to the unbelievable Flying-over Rock and the nearby Bright Peak. Also enjoy the glory of Mt. Huangshan sunset at Cloud Dispelling Pavilion and spend the night time on the mountain. |

Day 3 Huangshan ( B,L ) |
Get up early to shoot the Mount Huangshan's magnificent sunrise (if weather permits) at the Bright Peak. Then tour Walking Fairy Bridge, the most interesting section of the West Sea Grand Canyon. Turn to the front mountain and hike through the Turtle Peak. Take the cable car downhill at Yuping Cable Car Station.
After lunch, drive to Tachuan Village. Tachuan Village is beautified by the forest of Chinese tallow trees, whose leaves become crimson when autumn arrives. The autumn scenery of Tachuan Village is reputed as one of the four best in China. The elegant white-wall-and-black-roof village houses, together with the vibrant background of Chinese tallow forests, show you a most photogenic view. In the late afternoon, drive to Hongcun Ancient Village and stay overnight at the cozy hostel.
Shooting Tips: 1. Best time to shoot : 2:30pm - 4:30pm. The light before 2:30pm is too strong and after 4:30pm is often too dim to give you fine effects . 2. Best time to go: November.
3. By the way, the scenery along the road from Tachuan Village to Hongcun Village is pretty nice. Don't skip it. |

Day 4 Huangshan ( B,L ) |
After breakfast, begin your camera discovery with the Hongcun Ancient Village. The whole village, also the World Cultural Heritage Site, is a perfect combo of natural contribution and human intelligence. Hui-style eaves, wood carvings are abundant. The houses around Nanhu Lake (South Lake) and Yuezhao Pool (Moon Pool) are particularly worthy of your camera's attention.
After lunch, drive to downtown Huangshan City to visit the 500-year-old Tunxi Ancient Street where you can shop for some special souvenirs like Huangshan fritters, love-bean (red-bean) ornaments and Hui ink sticks. Later you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
Shooting Tips: 1. Best time to shoot : The dawn and the dusk when visitors are less and the atmosphere of the tranquil village is strong. 2. Apart from the architecture, the villagers who engage in their daily labor and the sketching students are also good ingredients for your camera. However, please note that the locals don’t like to be caught by your camera without their agreement. So you’d better get their "yes" before you focus your lens on them. |
