Visit the Terracotta Warriors, Bell Tower and Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Fly to Shanghai. Be met by our Shanghai tour guide in Shanghai airport and transferred to the hotel. Free time for your first evening in Shanghai. |
Xian Bell Tower | Built in 1384 A.D, the Bell Tower boasts a history of over 600 years. It is the largest and best-preserved of its kind in China. Visiting the Bell Tower, you can still see the Big Iron Bell which was made in Ming Dynasty, 2,500 kilograms in weight. | Big Wild Goose Pagoda | It was built in 652 during the Tang Dynasty and currently boasts height of seven stories. It’s said that Master Xuan Zang built this pagoda to house the Buddhist scriptures and relics he had brought back from India. | Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum | Terracotta Warriors is the underworld terracotta army of Emperor Qin Shihuang (the first unifier of China, 259BC-210BC). It’s reputed as the Eighth Miracle of the World. Now the Terracotta Museum consists of Pit 1, Pit 2, Pit 3 and Pit 4 as well as the Hall of the two bronze chariots and horses. | Shanghai | Shanghai is a comprehensive industrial base and the leading port in China. Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center | It is a large scale comprehensive urban planning exhibition center, displaying Shanghai’s urban planning and development. You can appreciate models not only focusing on the existing buildings and approved future buildings of Shanghai, but also on particular areas of interest such as the Bund. | Yuyuan Garden | The Yuyuan Garden, also known as the “Yu Garden”, is an eminent classical Chinese garden and famed as “an architectural miracle in South China”. Inside the Yu Garden, you will be fascinated with traditional Chinese style houses, grottoes, pavilions, lotus ponds, and zigzag bridges crossing streams. | Yuyuan Market | Located next to the Yuyuan Garden, it's a lively market that specializes in traditional Chinese arts and crafts. Souvenir hunters should not miss this hot tourist destination. Also you can try some Shanghai Xiao Long Bao, vegetarian buns, chicken soup to experience a little of the Shanghai culture. | The Bund | The Bund is always the first thing to hit tourists when they visit Shanghai as it is regarded as Shanghai’s magnificent landmark. The French Concession | A residential area of Shanghai once designated for the French, it is a very nice European place in Shanghai with lots of French and German cafes, tree-lined avenues, up-market stores as well as historical buildings. | Nanjing Road | If you are a fashion-seeking shoppers, this is the right place for you where all-in-one shopping malls, gorgeous restaurants and spectacular night views can be found. Buildings with distinctive features erect on both side of the street, huge signboards and advertisements show the city’s prosperity. | Shanghai Museum | Shanghai reputedly holds China's best collection of treasures from ancient bronzes, exquisitely carved jades and Ming and Qing dynasty antique furniture. Every visitor to Shanghai should try to pop in for at least an hour, but it's easy to spend a whole morning here. | Oriental Pearl TV Tower | With 467.9 meters in height, It is the forth tower in height in Asia and the sixth tallest in the world, opposite to the Bund. Day 9 Shanghai, Hangzhou ( B,L ) |
After breakfast, transferred to Shanghai railway station for the morning train to Hangzhou. Upon arrival at Hangzhou railway station, pickup and drive to take your visiting in Hangzhou. |
