Day by Day Itinierary
Day 1 Hong Kong, Chengdu ( L ) |
On arrival at Chengdu airport, our guide will meet you and tranfer to the hotel. Then we will visit the Wuhou Temple, also called Temple of the Marquis of Wu. |
Temple of the Marquis of Wu | The Temple of the Marquis of Wu (Wuhou Ci) is located in the outskirts of Chengdu, there is a large temple here containing a statue of Zhu Ge and an impressive Three Wonders Tablet, so called because it contains exquisite examples of calligraphy, carving and poetry. |

Day 2 Chengdu ( B,L ) |
After your breakfast in the hotel, you will head out for an one hour drive to Dujiangyan, afterwards you will be tranferred to Mt. Qingcheng and take cable car up to the mountain to have a bird-view of the city. |
Mount Qingcheng | Mount Qingcheng (Qingchengshan) is one of the ancient cradles of Daoism. The mountain has numerous Daoist temples and sites along the paths to its peak. The area is green all year round and is known for its secluded tranquility. | Dujiangyan | Construction of the Dujianyang Irrigation system began in the 3rd century BC, and it continues to control the waters of the Minjiang river and distribute it to the fertile farmland of the Chengdu plains. Mount Qingcheng was the birthplace of Taoism, which is celebrated in a series of ancient temples…… |

Day 3 Chengdu ( B,L ) |
The feeding time for Giant Panda in Chengdu Panda Base is 08:00am-08:30am & 2:00pm-2:30pm. |
Sanxingdui | In Sanxing Dui which is 40 kilometers south of Chengdu, two large sacrificial pits were found in 1986 boast the most important archaeological finds on the Sanxing Dui Ruins for the past half century. | Chengdu Panda Base | In 1987, the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (Research Base) was established on Futou Shan, an almost barren hill, where the soil was poor and not suitable for farming. This first phase of the project only covered an area of 5.5 hectares. Giant pandas and scientists from the Chengdu Zoo form the basis of the giant panda population and staff of the Research Base. |

Day 4 Chengdu ( B ) |
This morning excursion transfers you to visit the Cottage of Du Fu. Later transfer to Chengdu airport for your flight to next destinaiton. |
Du Fu's Thatched Cottage | Du Fu's Thatched Cottage (Dufu caotang) is the quaint former residence of one of China's most famous poets. The exhibits here include a brief account of Dufu's life and some of his original calligraphy and poems. |
