Upon arrival at Beijing airport, you will be met by our English speaking tour guide and transferred to hotel. Free time for the rest of the day.

Sightseeing tour with a private car with driver and a English speaking tour guide. Visit all must-see attractions in Downtown Beijing.

Day  3  Beijing   (B,L)

The highlight today is the Great Wall. The Mutianyu Great Wall is less crowded than Badaling, you might walk up and down the Wall on foot, or take cable car one way or round trips. The extra cost of cable car (RMB 50 one way) will be at your own cost.

Day  5  Beijing, Lhasa   (B,L)

Transfer to airport for your flight to Lhasa, be met & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure to acclimatize yourself to the high latituder.

Day  6  Lhasa   (B,L)

The rush hour of Potala Palace is 10am, so we highly recommend to register and visit it in the early morning, otherwise you might only see the crowd. Plenty time to stay around the Jokhang Monastery and the Barkhor Street in the afternoon. Highly recommend you also visit the Ramoche Monastery nearby, you will find more local tea houses, market and civilan houses. This is the local portion of Lhasa.

Day  7  Lhasa   (B,L)

Visit the Tibet Museum and Drepong Monastery, one of the most famous monasteries in Lhasa. In the afternoon, a visit to the local Tibetan family is a happy memory. Please prepare some gifts for this family visit, such as candy or chocolate for kids.

Day  8  Lhasa   (B)

Transfer to train station, take 36 hours train(soft sleeper) to Xian. Stay overnight on the train. Train No.: T 28 (leave Lhasa at 08h30, arrive Xian at 20h28 next day)

Day  9  Xian  

Arrive at Xian at 20h28 in the evening. Pick up at Xian railway station and transferred to the hotel. Optional activities: The famous night market near Drum Tower and Muslim Quarter is quite near your hotel, highly recommend to walk around a little bit at night.

Day  10  Xian   (B,L)

Visit the world famous terra cotta armies and other attractions in Xian.

Day  11  Xian   (B,L)
